Sendcloud – Odoo connector: explanations
The link developed between Odoo and Sendcloud allows you to centralize all logistics-related information in a single interface linked to your ERP.
The Printnode printing service (a tool that synchronizes printers with the system), also linked to Odoo, prints your labels remotely and automatically.
When the customer places their order, a purchase order is generated. The operational team is relieved of manual work and potential errors. The entire process is completely automated. Once the scan is completed, the information is sent back to Odoo thanks to the connector.
Example:
A Pick Pack Ship (the process of preparing an order until its departure for delivery - selecting the right product, packaging/consolidating per order, and shipping) is optimized and automated:
- Odoo receives the customer's information and sends it to Sendcloud;
- Thanks to the connector, the tool will ask Sendcloud for customer's information and automatically choose the carrier;
- The document and tracking number are synchronized between the systems. Labels are printed via Printnode without any human intervention;
- An escalation of the information via the tracking number allows the customer to receive real-time updates about their order.
